DUBLIN Corporation is considering a planning application to convert a building at 37 Dawson Street, Dublin 2, for use as a fully-licensed restaurant with public bar counter on the ground and first floors. Works will also include a three-storey extension at the rear.
The planners have given their consent to a number of changes to a hotel and retail development on the site of the former Green Cinema at St Stephen's Green. Under the revised planning, Firmount Ltd will be able to change the use of a loading bay to licensed restaurant and a retail unit to a bar.
