Looks like help could be at hand for that shortage of 3- and 4-bed homes we keep hearing about.

A major development of new houses looks set to come on stream in the leafy suburb of Dublin’s Rathfarnham next Thursday through auctioneers Meagher O’Reilly.

They’re being very cloak and dagger about the launch, but it’s understood there will be a host of high-end properties running the gamut from two bed apartments to four bed semi-detached homes up for grabs at prices up to 70 per cent discounted on what they might have been a couple of years ago.
