With most construction companies now looking for professional staff, the management and training agency, International Development Ireland Ltd (IDI), has lined up 70 qualified town planners, quantity surveyors, architects and multi-disciplined engineers who are prepared to move from South Africa to Ireland. The candidates, who are aged from their mid-twenties to late forties, have been interviewed by IDI. They are all fluent English speakers and have at least two years experience. Karen Monaghan of IDI is handling enquiries. This is not IDI's first campaign to recruit professionals abroad. The company is currently seeking positions here for 60 middle to senior level information technology candidates from Russia, Ukraine and Moldova.
