A private investor has paid £1.85 million (2.35m) for a retail and office investment at Fairview in Dublin 3. Hamilton Osborne King handled the sale of the mid-terrace two-storey building which is rented by Friends First, Xtravision and Gunne estate agents. The building, which has five car-parking spaces at the rear, is currently producing £110,000 (139,671), a figure which is expected to rise when two reviews take place in 2003, according to Michael Clarke of HOK. The agency also secured £400,000 (507,895) for a 1,200 sq ft office investment at Sandyford Office Park with four parking spaces. The ground floor is let on a long lease and when a tenant is found for the upper floor the rental value should be around £25,000 (31,743) per annum.
