BUSINESSMAN Neil McDermott has secured planning permission for a development of up to 15,000 square feel of retail warehousing, showrooms and offices on a high-profile site at the M50 interchange with Naas Road in west Dublin. Harrington Bannon is marketing the site on the basis that Mr McDermott will develop the building and either sell it or let it under a 25-year lease. It is likely to appeal to both the motor industry and businesses opting for retail warehousing. It is reputedly the busiest junction in the Republic, with a passing traffic of more than 85,000 vehicles per day.
