Limerick is to get another hotel. A planning application has been lodged for a 107-bedroom hotel at Kings Island on a site off the Northern Relief Road. The five and six-storey development will involve the closing of a section of Sir Harry's Mall and the provision of a boardwalk across the Abbey River to allow pedestrian access from the northern end of the site.
In Dublin, a planning application has been lodged to develop a business park on a 4.35-acre former dairy site off Nutgrove Avenue, Churchtown, Dublin 14. The scheme will have 318,000 sq ft of office-based industrial space in five and six-storey over basement blocks. There will be 592 car-parking spaces, most of them at basement level.
