NEARLY EVERYTHING in the livingroom at 131 Saul Road in Crumlin, Dublin 12, is as natural as it can be.
The walls in the sittingroom are painted in an NBT mineral-based paint in a shade called Linen which the owner found "a beautiful paint" (see www.lochplace.com and tel: 021 477 6677). A five-litre pot costs around €33.
The woodwork is painted in a satin finish natural white, also by NBT. The undercoat used is Auro, a vegetable-oil based paint from Kleepaper (01-838 3544 and www.ecoland.com). A two-litre primer costs €21.50.
A 10-litre tub of natural resin white wall paint, which can be diluted by up to 20 per cent as an undercoat, costs €78.50.
The natural textures in the room include a hession carpet from Des Kelly (01-830 0671) and the floor is solid walnut from Brooks (01-419 0000).
The natural cotton blind was made by Window Fashions and Interiors (www.windowfashions.ie and tel: 01-490 1655) and cost around €500.
The picture, by artist Enda Kavanagh (www.endacavanagh.com), is displayed on a standard easel.
