A RANGE of new shops fronting on to Capel Street and Little Britain Street in Dublin 2 has come on the market following the completion of the Capel Court retail and apartment development (above). A unit of 900 square foot has already been let to an interior designer.

Agent T.P. Campion (telephone 6618444) is quoting a rent of £220 per week for a corner shop of 340 square feet, which could be combined with up to 1,200 square feet on Little Britain Street. Also for letting on Capel Street is a shop of 380 square feet at £180 per week and a unit of 250 square feet at £130 per week.

The developer, James Oman, who runs an exclusive antique furniture store next door, has provided distinctive antique shopfronts on the new retail units. Capel Street has been trading exceptionally well in recent years, according to the agents, and is expected to improve further with the development of up to 2,000 new apartments in the immediate area.
