One of the last developments of starter homes likely to be launched in the Dublin area before the summer break go on sale today near Clonee at Dublin 15.
Menolly Homes is to take bookings for 135 houses and apartments at Linnetfields, close to where the company has already completed 1,600 houses over the past 2 1/2 years. The Ross McParland agency is handling sales.
Menolly's policy of pitching prices below those of other developers to achieve high volume sales is being continued at Linnetfields. Two-bedroom townhouses with 750 sq ft are priced from £132,000 while three-bedroom end-of-terrace homes with 1,050 sq ft will cost from £150,995.
The development will also include 56 two-bedroom apartments in six blocks. These will have an average floor area of 720 sq ft and will cost from £132,000.
The new homes are located a short distance off the Navan road, near the Little Pace Stud farm. They are also within a few minutes drive of Blanchardstown Town Centre with its excellent shopping and leisure facilities. Linnetfields is also a short drive from the M50 ring road.
Standard features in the new homes include natural gas central heating tongued and grooved flooring in the two and three bedroom townhouses; sliding doors to patio or to balconies in the case of the apartments; fitted wardrobes in all bedrooms and high quality fitted kitchens.
