FAST-FOOD chain McDonalds is to open an outlet at Bray Town Hall where it will be paying a rent of around £47,000 per annum. Built in 1881, the town hall is one of the most distinctive buildings in the town. Noonan Construction, which refurbished the Town Hall, has also sold the remaining retail and office units in the adjoining Market Court development, which is in a tax designated area. Two of the shops with a total of almost 1,800 square feet were acquired by Edward Carroll and Co. Mason Owen Lyons handled the lettings and sales in Bray. The agency is quoting rents of £10.50 for two office suites, each with under 900 square feet.
