For all those Minnie Peters fans who are suffering withdrawal symptoms following her move from George’s Street in Dún Laoghaire, not to mention the withdrawal of Chalon kitchens (which is run by husband Nigel Bray) from Blackrock, never fear.

The new Minnie Peters Kitchen, Furniture and Design Studio in Sandyford opens formally next week.

The warehouse-like space, which is located close to the Beacon development, incorporates Chalon (see picture right), the bespoke kitchens which Bray is currently fitting in a number of houses including a west Cork cottage and a Tipperary castle.

Two further kitchen ranges will be stocked in the kitchen studio, another vast space opening from a showroom decorated in Peters’ beloved white, white and more white. The official opening is on September 8th.
