Sports retailer Lifestyle Sports has opened in a new store at Blanchardstown Town Centre and is preparing to open in Liffey Valley shopping centre in west Dublin and Manor West shopping centre in Tralee. The company, which now has 64 shops nationwide, has paid a premium of £140,000 (€178,000) for the lease on the neighbouring unit to one it had already acquired at Liffey Valley to double its size.
In Blanchardstown, it has taken over the former ACC premises. In Tralee, it is moving into an 8,000 sq ft unit at the new shopping centre and will be paying a rent of £105,000 (€133,323). Jones Lang LaSalle acted for Lifestyle while Palmer McCormack represented Green Property, owners of the Blanchardstown centre.
