THE sharp difference in office rents in Belfast and Dublin was again illustrated this week when a 40,000-square-foot office building at Sydenham Business Park, just outside Belfast city centre, was pre-let to CableTel NI Ltd at £9.50 per square foot. Similar quality space in Dublin would probably make over £16 per square foot.

McKibbin and Co, which handled the letting - the largest in the North for more than two years - said the rental achieved "should be a breath of fresh air to developers and investors alike".
