There is £280 million invested in this fund which is a straight life fund aimed at private investors who want exposure to the commercial property market. They usually invest £30,000 to £100,000, which would not be enough to get a substantial building in today's market. It has tax advantages as the tax is paid in the fund at a rate of 22 per cent. Properties in the portfolio include Hume House in Dublin and a stake in the ILAC Centre as well as Blackthorn House in Sandyford.
