TWO private investors have agreed terms at over £675,000 or a newly developed restaurant fronting on to Meeting House Square in Dublin's Temple Bar area. The investment will produce a yield of almost 7.5 per cent before the tax breaks are taken into account. The 2,500-square-foot restaurant has been let to Jonathan Bourke and Eoin Foyle at a rent of £55,000 per year. They also own The Globe bar South Great George's Street. They operate The Front Lounge at Parliament Street and the Odessa restaurant and Ri Ra nightclub at Dame Court.

Robert McCarthy of Douglas Newman Good said there was significant interest in the investment which offered capital allowances equating to 47 per cent of the purchase prices.
