Green Property is to embark on another phase of retail warehousing at Blanchardstown Town Centre in West Dublin. Fingal Co Council has granted planning permission for a further six retail units with around 160,000 sq ft of space as well as nine retail and retail service units including a restaurant with a combined floor area of over 100,000 sq ft. The planners have cleared the way for a five-level car park with 1,000 spaces to replace the surface car-park which will be used for the retail warehouse. There is also outline permission for another drive-through restaurant on the site.

In Ballyfermot, Dublin 10, Astona Development is seeking planning permission for an apartment development based on the former Convent of Seven Oaks at Sarsfield Road. The planning application provides for 189 apartments in three new blocks and in the existing convent.
