A RARE residential site sandwiched between Lahinch's two golf courses, above, could make €700,000 when it is auctioned next month.

The site of less than a quarter of an acre lies between the championship links course and the Castle course on the Liscannor Road, within the bounds of the popular seaside town. It will be auctioned on August 22nd by joint agents Lisney and Sherry FitzGerald Hussey Madden.

A short walk from the clubhouse, beach and promenade, the property is on Lahinch's millionaires' row, surrounded by luxury holiday homes, one of which is owned by developer Bernard McNamara. The main course at Lahinch is regarded as one of the top links courses in Europe, attracting international visitors year round.
