A development of 50 houses in Brittas Bay, Co Wicklow, is being launched off the plans today. Brittas Bay Park is being sold by Ross McParland with prices ranging from £182,500 to £XXX,XXX. The homes are being built by Ledaig Limited who were responsible for the nearby Brittas Bay Village scheme.
The new homes are on a 32acre site within a short walk of a blue flag beach. They are laid out in small cul-de-sacs surrounded by open spaces. Each house has three bedrooms, all with an en suite bathroom, and around 800 sq ft of living space. The fitted kitchens have an oven, hob and extractor fan. The livingroom has a wood-burning stove and leads out to a large timber deck. The decking will extent to 200 sq ft.
The flooring throughout the houses is timber, except for the bathroom en suites, which are tiled.
Security is a strong feature of this development, which is fully enclosed and accessible only through electric front gates. A caretaker is on site all year round. Part of the landscaped site is a heritage preserve and it will feature community facilities, including play areas and tennis courts. The European, Woodenbridge and Druids Glen golf courses are all close by.
Brittas Bay is within five miles of Wicklow town and one of Brittas Bay's main attraction is its easy access to Dublin. The homes could be used throughout the winter as well as the summer months, either by owners or as rental income.
Brittas Bay has shops, pubs and restaurants. Plans are on view in Ross McParland's offices in Donnybrook from 8 a.m. today. Homes are expected to be available for occupation from next spring.
