A Georgian house at 17 Merrion Square, Dublin 2, sold for £1.77 million at a Lisney auction. The four-storey redbrick, needing complete refurbishment, had been in the same family for over 50 years.

The home of Michelle Rocca, Somerset, on Anglesea Road, Ballsbridge, was sold after auction for around £1.7 million through Lisney.

Nearby at 10 Anglesea Road, a five-bedroom semi-detatched house fetched £600,000 at a Sherry FitzGerald auction.

A four-storey Victorian house at 33 Raglan Road, Ballsbridge, was sold at auction for £1,350,000 through Lisney.

In Sandycove, a developer paid £1.51 million for Ard Mhuire, a detached house on half an acre at 40 Elton Park, at auction through Lisney.

On Ardeevin Road, Dalkey, a three-bedroom semi-detached house, Fermoyle, made £457,000 at a Lisney auction.

Still in Dalkey, 10 Saval Park Crescent, a five-bedroom detached bungalow, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £415,000.

In Glenageary, Tigroney, at 1 Sion Road, Glenageary, a three-bedroom detached bungalow, was withdrawn by Douglas Newman Good, which is quoting £370,000.

In Blackrock, 95 Avoca Park, a four-bedroom detached house, was sold at a Hamilton Osborne King auction for £500,000.

A three-bedroom house at 7 Monkstown Road, Blackrock, fetched £370,000 through Sherry FitzGerald.

A detached bungalow at 66 Granville Park, Blackrock, was sold after auction for over the guide price of £300,000 through Daphne L. Kaye & Associates.

O'Connor Shannon is seeking £450,000 for 14 Windsor Road, Rathmines, a four-bedroom semi, after it failed to sell at auction. Also in Rathmines, 20 Cowper Downs, a three-bedroom house, was withdrawn at £290,000 and sold later for a higher price through Sherry FitzGerald. Sherry FitzGerald fetched a strong price of £1.87 million for a six-bedroom detached house at 9 Temple Gardens, Rathgar. Billy O'Sullivan is seeking £440,000 for 12 Laurelton, a four-bedroom detached house on Bushy Park Road, Rathgar, following its withdrawal from auction at £370,000.

Elsewhere in Rathgar, 39 Terenure Road East, a two-storey over garden level terraced house was withdrawn by Gunne, which is quoting £775,000.

In Ranelagh, 48 Elmwood Avenue, a two-bedroom mid-terraced house, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £305,000.

In Harold's Cross, 232 Harold's Cross Road, a pre'63 investment property in three units, was sold at auction for £351,000 through Sherry FitzGerald. At 5 Clareville Road, Harold's Cross, a four-bedroom mid-terrace house was withdrawn and is under negotiation through Gunne.

Nearby, at 46 Vernon Avenue, the same agent fetched £355,000 for a four-bedroom semi-detached house. Sherry FitzGerald is seeking £390,000 for Rathcline, on Castle Road, Clontarf, a four-bedroom bungalow, following its withdrawal from auction.

Still in Clontarf, 26 Conquer Hill Road, a three-bedroom terraced house, fetched £195,000 through Jackson-Stops McCabe. In Drumcondra, 8 Calderwood Road, a four-bedroom semi-detached house, fetched £381,000 through Herman White.

A four-bedroom house at 68 Upper Drumcondra Road was sold after auction for close to £320,000 by Sherry FitzGerald.

A four-bedroom semi-detached house at 422 Griffith Avenue, Drumcondra, fetched £280,000 through Douglas Newman Good.

Still in Drumcondra, 46 St Alphonsus Road, a two-bedroom mid-terrace house, made £182,000 at a Sherry FitzGerald auction.

In Phibsboro, a three-bedroom semi at 105 Shandon Park, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £205,000.

In Castleknock, Dublin 15, 15 Deerpark Drive, a six-bedroom detached house, was withdrawn by Lisney, which is quoting £550,000.

In Greystones, a three-bedroom house, Mentone, on Church Road, was sold at auction for £277,000 through Jackson-Stops McCabe.

Also in Greystones, a four-bedroom house, Brig House, at Greystones Harbour, was withdrawn by Jackson-Stops McCabe, which is quoting £330,000.

A three-bedroom bungalow, Highcroft, at Hollybrook, Bray, was sold at auction for £240,000 through Gabriel Dooley. In Delgany, Hollybank, Downshill Woods, a four-bedroom dormer bungalow, fetched £500,000 through Jackson-Stops McCabe.

Also in Delgany, a three-bedroom bungalow on 2.5 acres, Bron-y-Aur, on Blackberry Lane, was withdrawn at £440,000 and sold later for a higher figure through Banks & Co.

In Co Kildare, Herbertstown House Stud, in Naas, a 180-acre stud farm, was sold at auction for £2,860,000 through Jordan Auctioneers. The property includes 21 boxes , a three-bedroom bungalow, and indoor school.

Ardross, a four-bedroom house on five acres, at Dunmurry, was sold prior to auction for over the guide price of £500,000-plus through Jordan Auctioneers.

Colm McEvoy Auctioneers sold Benrue, a four-bedroom bungalow on 0.5 acres at Rathasker Road, for £280,000.

A two-bedroom cottage on 0.5 acres, Kilmurray, Clane, was sold at auction for £128,000 through Coonan.

Also in Maynooth, a four-bedroom bungalow, Deravarragh, Newtown, was sold at auction for £205,000 through Brady & Co.

A 161-acre farm at Guidenstown South, Kildare, was sold prior to auction by Colm McEvoy.

In Co Meath, a seven-bedroom country estate on 250 acres, Rockfield House, Kells, fetched £2.35 million through Gunne.

Joint agent Hamilton Osborne King and T.E. Potterton sold a 260-acre drystock holding at Castletown, Tara, in five lots. Lot 1: 47 acres sold for £320,000; Lot 2: 45 acres sold for £335,000; Lot 3: 41 acres made £310,000; Lot 4: 81 acres sold for £575,000; Lot 5: 40 acres sold for £410,000.

A 53-acre farm at Kiltale, Dunsany, was sold at auction for £275,000 by Smiths.

T.E. Potterton sold two properties: a 70-acre non-residential farm at Hill of Ward, Athboy, made £365,000, while a 53-acre farm at Clonaugh, Thomastown, Enfield, sold for £160,000. A three-bedroom cottage on an acre, Macepool, The Ward, Co Meath, was withdrawn at £200,000 by Grimes, which is quoting £230,000.

Near Trim, Maudlin Mill, a house on 1.5 acres at Friars Park, was withdrawn at £240,000 by Hamilton Osborne King.

In Slane, a 19-acre holding made £91,000 through T.E. Potterton. Elsewhere in Co Meath, The Coachman's Lodge, a two-bedroom lodge at Summerhill Demesne, was withdrawn at £150,000 and sold later for a higher price through Gunne.

In Co Cavan, The Grange, a seven-bedroom Victorian house on seven acres at Billis, Ballyjamesduff, was sold prior to auction through joint agents Gunne and AOR Estates.

In Co Limerick, Rowerbeg, a three-bedroom bungalow on 43 acres in Adare, was sold at auction for £800,000 through Lisney.

Also in Co Limerick, Fort Edmund Hall, on 182 acres at Lisduane, Ballinleena, was sold at auction for £575,000 through Cohalan Downing.

In Sandyford, Dublin 18, a 4.6 acre residential site at Blackglen Road and Slate Cabin was sold at auction for £2.61 million through Hamilton Osborne King. Kilbride Auctioneers fetched over £200,000 prior to auction for 23 Ravensdale Park, Kimmage, comprising three commercial units and a house.

An investment/development property, The Mart, on Leopardstown Road, Dublin 18, was sold at auction for £515,000 through Hamilton Osborne King. In Dalkey, two retail units and office accommodation at Castle Yard, St Patrick's Road, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £1.5m-plus.

In Dublin 20, a detached bungalow on 1.52 acres, including a builder's yard and cottages, at Knockmaroon Hill, Knockmaroon, fetched £1.1 million at a Lisney auction. A residential public house, The Blanchardstown House, on Main Street, was withdrawn at £1.4 million by Morrisseys.

The Abbey Inn, in Ballybogan, Enfield, was withdrawn at £385,000 and sold later for a higher price through Toole McKay.
