Forty-six three and four-bedroom semi-detached houses, and four and five-bedroom detached houses with garages are being launched in the latest phase of Woodstown Village, Ellier Development's scheme at Ballycullen Road, Knocklyon, Dublin 16, close to the foothills of the Dublin Mountains.
Prices start from £148,000 and the houses are due for completion in Autumn 1999. The selling agent is Sherry FitzGerald.
There will be 600 houses on the Woodstown development when it is completed. A village centre is already trading and landscaping has matured.
The houses are well-finished, with bright interiors. The design of the houses has changed as the development has matured and new ideas are being incorporated into the later houses, based on suggestions from the first tenants.
The 1,050 sq ft three-bedroom semi-detached house, costing £148,000, is popular with first-time buyers. Another three-bedroom semi which features a separate kitchen/ breakfastroom, measures 1,270 sq ft. Four-bedroom semis with 1,270 sq ft and 1,335 sq ft have large kitchen/ breakfastrooms.
The houses all have interconnecting double doors between the reception rooms and sliding doors to fenced back gardens. All the larger houses with garages have a connecting door to the house. The hillside setting is a big attraction of this development. Elier have maintained a walkway to the mountains at the side of the scheme and plenty of open well-landscaped spaces have been provided. When the first phase of Woodstown was launched, the developers had to erect a marquee and provide food for the hundreds of buyers who queued overnight.
The situation has eased with the virtual disappearance of investors, but Sherry Fitzgerald are still expecting keen interest in this most recent launch.
