The former headquarters of McInerney plc at 27/28 Herbert Place, Dublin 2, is expected to make in excess of £1.75 million when it is sold at auction by Davin estate agents on October 22nd. McInerney recently relocated to Dundrum.
The 7,500 sq ft building comes on the market at a time when there is a marked shortage of high quality Georgian office accommodation in the city. If bought by an investor, it is likely to attract a rent of at least £140,000 per annum, equating to £18 per sq ft, and £1,500 for each of the six car parking spaces. The present owner, a leading Dublin property developer, integrated the two buildings seven years ago and installed a lift to serve all floors. A light refurbishment programme was also carried out following McInerney's departure. The property is located at the high profile corner of Herbert Place and Mount Street Crescent, close to the Peppercanister Church.
