Howard Holdings plc has lodged a planning application for a mixed development of 120,000 sq ft in the Cork city docklands. It will be the first significant scheme of its type in the area. The scheme will comprise more than 67,000 sq ft of offices, almost 10,000 sq ft of retail space and over 6,000 sq ft for bars and restaurants.
The waterfront site is ideally located between the traditional office location of the South Mall and the proposed Cork Docklands Development Area. It will also be close to Cork Central bus and train stations and the shopping area of Patrick Street. DTZ Sherry FitzGerald will be the letting agents.
