Situated in a cul-de-sac backing on to UCD's horticultural lands and Teresian School grounds, the house has three reception rooms, a conservatory and five bedrooms.

In Ballsbridge, 46 Nutley Avenue, a five-bedroom semi-detached house, made £545,000 at a Sherry FitzGerald auction.

A three-bedroom semi-detached house at 74 St Alban's Park, Sandymount, was sold at auction for £331,000 through Meldon & Sons.

A two-bedroom mews house at 1 Harcourt Mews, off Charlemont Place, Dublin 2, was sold prior to auction by Hamilton Osborne King.

In Templeogue, 122 Templeville Drive, a three-bedroom semi-detached house, was sold at a Sherry FitzGerald auction for £281,000.

Nearby, at 30 Springfield Road, Templeogue, a five-bedroom semi-detached house was withdrawn at £285,000 and is under negotiation through Gunne.

In Terenure, a four-bedroom redbrick terraced house at 13 Ashdale Road, was sold at auction for £320,000 by Sherry FitzGerald.

At 159 Greenlea Road, a four-bedroom semi-detached house was sold after auction for over the guide price of £320,000-plus through Lisney.

In Rathgar, a four-bedroom period terraced house at 5 Brighton Square was withdrawn at £375,000 by Gunne, which is quoting £400,000.

South Dublin

In Blackrock, a five-bedroom semi-detached house at 61 Wynberg Park was sold at auction for £405,000 through Corry McMahon. Elsewhere in Blackrock, Terry Halpenny sold a three-bedroom mid-terraced bungalow at 13 St Vincent's Park at auction for £245,000.

In Monkstown, a 1,000-sq. ft two-bedroom apartment at 9 Carriglea, Queen's Park, was withdrawn by Gunne, which is quoting £240,000-plus.

Meldon & Sons is seeking £225,000 for 64 Hazel Avenue, Kilmacud, Stillorgan, a four-bedroom detached bungalow, following its withdrawal from auction.

In Rathfarnham, Dublin 14, 6 Ballymace Green, a five-bedroom semi-detached house in a cul-de-sac was sold at auction for £235,000 through Orchard Estate Agents.

North Dublin

Off the Navan Road in Dublin 7, 14 Kempton Green, a four-bedroom detached house, was sold at auction for £331,000 through Flynn & Associates.

A three-bedroom terraced house at 45 Griffith Avenue, Drumcondra, Dublin 9, was sold at auction for £228,000 by Hamilton Osborne King.

Also in Drumcondra, 15 Calderwood Avenue, a four-bedroom semi-detached house was sold after auction for £237,500 by Sherry FitzGerald.

In Glasnevin, 88 Botanic Road, a four-bedroom mid-terraced period house was sold at a Sherry FitzGerald auction for £286,000.

In Fairview, Dublin 3, a four-bedroom terraced house at 22 Inverness Road, was sold at a Gunne auction for £260,000.

Sherry FitzGerald secured £327,500 at auction for 1 The Paddocks, Clontarf, a detached four-bedroom house.

The same agent is quoting £280,000 for 18 Kincora Avenue, Clontarf, a three-bedroom semidetached house after it failed to sell at auction. A four-bedroom detached dormer bungalow on 0.33 acres at 32 Offington Drive, Sutton, Dublin 13, was withdrawn by Gunne, which is quoting £350,000.

Wicklow

In Greystones, a two-bedroom chalet bungalow, Aravon Cottage, Blacklion, was sold at a Jackson-Stops McCabe auction for £177,000.

A four-bedroom semi-detached house, Hilden, on Dunbur Road, Wicklow, was withdrawn by Clarke Delahunt, which is quoting £225,000.

Provincial

In C0 Westmeath, a 143-acre non-residential farm at Killucan was sold at auction yesterday for £500,000 through Ganly Walters.

Also in Co Westmeath, a two-bedroom cottage on 19.5 acres at Craddenstown, Coolronan, was sold at auction for £44,000 through T.E. Potterton.

In Co Meath, a nine-bedroom Georgian house on five acres, Woodtown House, at Woodtown, Athboy, was withdrawn at £495,000 by Keane Mahony Smith, which sold it later for a higher figure.

Also in Co Meath, a six-acre holding in Tara was sold at auction for £80,000 through T.E. Potterton.

A cottage on half an acre, plus 22 acres of land, at Lambay, Kilbride, Trim, was withdrawn and sold later through Raymond Potterton. A terraced house at 7 Basin Street, Naas, Co Kildare was sold at auction for £129,000 through Colm McEvoy Auctioneers.

Elsewhere in Naas, a five-bedroom dormer bungalow on 0.75 acres at Yeomanstown was withdrawn by Colm McEvoy which is quoting £200,000.

Andrew J Nolan Auctioneers secured £57,000 at auction for Hawthorn Cottage, a one-bedroom cottage on 0.5 acres in Ballytore, Co Kildare.

Meanwhile, a bungalow with commercial potential at Main Street, Maynooth, was withdrawn at £190,000 and is under negotiation through Coonan.

In Co Laois, a derelict cottage on 17 acres at Crettyard was withdrawn at £62,000 and sold later for a higher figure through O'Doherty Auctioneers.

In Portlaoise, a seven-acre site with planning permission for 60 houses at Mill Lane was withdrawn by Colm McEvoy, which is quoting £1.1 million.

In Gorey, Co Wexford, Paddy Blues public house at North Parade was withdrawn at £955,000 and is under negotiation through Warren Estates.

In Co Wicklow, an industrial premises with development potential at Seafront, Castle View, was withdrawn by H J Byrne, which is quoting £300,000.
