DUTCH bankers Mees Pierson has agreed terms to lease 16,500 square feet of office space at the Custom House Plaza at the International Financial Services Centre in Dublin.
The company will be paying a rent of £27.50 for two floors, which will be occupied under a 25-year lease with no break clauses. The space will be ready for occupation at the end of June.
Representatives of Mees Pierson were at the new complex last week when it was officially opened by the Minister for Finance, Mr Quinn. When completed, there will be six distinct buildings with a total of 225,000 square feet linked together by a central atrium. The complex is already acknowledged as one of the best in the Custom House Docks. ABN Amro Bank and Riada Stockbrokers have already moved into 42,000 square feet of space and Irish Permanent is taking possession of two floors this week. Anglo Irish Bank and Bank of Ireland will be moving in shortly, along with the oil company Maxol.
The Custom House Plaza has been developed by a company headed by Brian Rhatigan and leased by Peter Stapleton of Lisney.
