Dunnes Stores has begun advertising for staff for its latest Dublin store, a 34,000-square-foot unit at J.J. Savage's shopping centre in Swords. Dunnes is to sell textiles and homewares in the £1 million store, which will be rented on a long-term lease. The arrival of Dunnes is expected to prove a major boost for business in the adjoining supermarket, which is run by Mr Savage.

Meanwhile, Flynn and O'Flaherty is due to start development work early in the new year on a major new shopping centre in the centre of Swords.
