The house is an exact replica of its neighbours - 19th century cottages built by the Pembroke Estate. It occupies a corner site that was originally the garden of the house next door. The owner, a Dublin builder, bought the entire property in March 1997 for £150,000, and sold the original cottage for £180,250.
In Ballsbridge, a two-storey period house at 33 Wellington Place was sold at a Lisney auction for £950,000.
A four-bedroom terraced house at 76 Moyne Road, Ranelagh, Dublin 6, made £415,000 through Sherry FitzGerald, which also sold 22 Chelmsford Road, Ranelagh, a redbrick in three flats, after auction for £290,000.
Lisney fetched £290,000 for a three-bedroom terraced house at 6 York Avenue, Rathmines.
Hamilton Osborne King is seeking £295,000 after auction for 11 The Oaks, Churchtown, Dublin 14, a four-bedroom detached house.
In Dun Laoghaire, Ashford, a detached four-bedroom house at Lower Glenageary Road, was withdrawn at £325,000 and sold later for a higher figure through joint agents Hamilton Osborne King and de Vere White & Smyth.
In Glenageary, a four-bedroom semi at 1 Marlborough Court, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £255,000.
A two-bedroom bungalow at 8 Leslie Avenue, Dalkey, was withdrawn by Lisney, which is quoting £258,000.
In Foxrock, Dublin 18, a 1.1 acre site with planning permission for a 6,000-sq-ft house was withdrawn at £1 million by Daphne L. Kaye & Associates, which is quoting £1.6 million.
In Clontarf, Dublin 3, a six-bedroom semi at 14 Hollybrook Road was withdrawn at £310,000 by Sherry FitzGerald.
In Co Wicklow, Santa Maria, a four-bedroom bungalow at Dargle Vale, Bray, made £167,000 through Sherry FitzGerald.
Brickfield House, a four-bedroom detached house on Killarney Road, Bray, was withdrawn by joint agents Jackson-Stops McCabe and H.J. Byrne, which are quoting £400,000.
A three-bedroom semi Cherryview, at Killincarrig, was sold at auction for £260,000 through Sherry FitzGerald.
In Drogheda, a two-storey farmhouse on 2.15 acres at Collon was sold at auction for £95,000 through Sullivan Estate Agents.
In Co Kilkenny, 50 acres of potential development land at Glashocollaire, Callan, made £415,000 through joint agents Michael F. Grace and D.J. Fennelly & Son and Michael Grace.
Also in Co Kilkenny, Doninga House, a Georgian house on 112 acres at Gorsebride, was withdrawn at £800,000 and is under negotiation through Patrick G. Dawson & Son.
In commercial sales, joint agents DTZ Sherry FitzGerald and Davin secured £4.25 million at auction for Pepper Canister House, a 10,000-sq-ft office building on Mount Street Crescent in Dublin 2.
At 37 Northumberland Road, a two-storey Victorian building was withdrawn at £1.45 million and is under negotiation through Gunne.
A four-storey building at 4 Beresford Place, Dublin 1, was withdrawn at £450,000 by Lisney, which is quoting £650,000.
