SHERRY FitzGerald is tracking hits on its website to find out all kinds of things about would-be buyers, and one thing it’s finding is that more and more interest is coming from overseas.
MD Michael Grehan says that visitors from 134 different countries have visited its site since January, with most overseas traffic predictably enough coming from the US and UK. Grehan says that the Sherry Fitz branch in the docklands has seen interest from buyers in Malaysia, Bahrain, Singapore and Dubai – many of them looking for a base for student days at The Royal College of Surgeons (RCSI).
However, the most active buyers currently, says Grehan, are the Chinese community in Ireland, so much so the agency is planning to host its first property briefing in conjunction with The Association of Chinese Professionals in Ireland. This event takes place on April 7th at the agency’s Ballsbridge HQ.
