With apartment prices in Ballsbridge going through the roof, it is no surprise that the owners of Ardoyne House, the landmark apartment block overlooking Herbert Park, have been attempting to squeeze in a few more units. However, the Corpo has just refused permission for five two-storey townhouses off Clyde Lane that were to replace a row of garages. No doubt the management company will appeal the decision given that the houses could be worth up to £500,000 each.
