DUBLIN 15 FROM €249,950:  THE LATEST phase of the Castlegrange scheme in Dublin 15 comes to the market this weekend.

Douglas Newman Good is handling the sale of nine apartments and nine duplexes with prices starting at €249,950.

Castlegrange was first launched in February of last year when two, three and four-bedroom houses were put on the market. Around 40 of these houses were sold to the trade-up and first-time buyer market. The majority of these buyers have now moved in.

The scheme of 350 units is being developed by La Vista, which is part of the Lynam group. It is in Castaheany off the New Ongar Road and close to Lynam's Latchford scheme.

Blanchardstown is nearby and there is a good range of neighbourhood shops and restaurants at Ongar village. Clonsilla train station is within striking distance at Coolmine - a 20-minute walk or a short drive.

Two-bedroom own-door apartments at Castlegrange are priced from €249,950. These units have 70sq m (730sq ft) of living space.

Three-bedroom duplex units have 102sq m (1,100sq ft) and are priced from €299,950. Two show units will be on view this weekend.

Fit-out at Castlegrange includes walnut kitchens, integrated appliances, coal-effect wall-mounted fires in livingrooms and heated towel rails and wall tiling in bathrooms.

Other extras include recessed lighting in living areas, solid ash internal doors and 9ft ceiling heights.

Completions in this phase are expected in autumn of this year, according to the selling agent.

Previous developments by the Lynam group include Sorrel Park and Limelawn Park in Clonsilla and Riverston off the Navan Road.
