Agents Ross McParland were also in high mood last weekend following the sale of over £12 million worth of houses and apartments in four different developments. The agency took bookings for 35 starter homes valued at £4.4 million being built by Kingcroft Developments at Leixlip Manor in Leixlip, Co Kildare. The development is close to Ballymore's highly acclaimed Cyber Plains scheme, which is now well advanced. Kingcroft has pitched its three-bed semis at £112,000 and its four-bed semis at £132,000. Also in west Dublin, Ross McParland sold another 20 starter homes at Hansfield in the Castaheany development at Navan Road, Dublin 15, where threebed semis are priced between £115,950 and £117,950.
One of the few developments currently aimed at the top end of the market, Brehons Chair, off College Road, Rathfarnham, Dublin 16, also attracted considerable interest which is likely to continue. Ross McParland sold six of the three and four-bedroom detached houses which are among the most stylish in the city. The homes average around £400,000 each, and are beautifully located at the foothills of the Dublin mountains. In the city centre, the same agents found buyers for all 25 apartments in The Mews, at the rear of 41 North Great George's Street, Dublin 1. Prices here ranged from £88,950 for one-bedroom aparments to £140,000 for the largest two-bedroom unit.
