Millbrook, a new development of two-bedroom apartments and three-bedroom duplex units overlooking several acres of parkland at Johnstown in Navan, Co Meath, is being launched this weekend by Ross McParland.
Twenty-eight miles from Dublin on the city side of Navan, Millbrook is expected to attract interest from commuters. It will also appeal to first-time buyers with prices starting at £91,995 to £93,995 for the two-bedroom apartments and £112,500 to £117,500 for the three-bedroom duplex units. There are 72 units in total - 36 of each type.
Millbrook comprises 10 buildings - all of which contain a mix of apartments and duplexes. The facade of each building has a half-redbrick frontage with terraced balconies which adjoin the duplex units.
The units, which all have east/west aspect and picture windows in the living area to make the most of the parkland views, are expected to be ready for occupation in July. The developers are Hollioake Homes.
The two-bed apartments are 600 sq ft with a combined livingroom and dining area and separate kitchen area. There are no en suite bathrooms and the second bedroom is a single room.
Ranging in size from 940 to 1040 sq ft, the three-bed duplex comes in two styles - a traditional arrangement with livingroom and kitchen areas on the first floor level and bedrooms on the second floor or an alternative layout with bedrooms on first floor and living space on the second. There is a paved balcony off the livingroom and a kitchen/ dining area. The main bedroom has an en suite bathroom.
Navan is served by plenty of restaurants, bars, a cinema, banks and shopping facilities, including Navan shopping centre. There is a choice of schools and churches.
