A business premises along the best trading pitch in Roscrea has come on the market through local agent Victor Mitchell. McCorduck's footwear store at Main Street is expected to make about £500,000 when it is sold by private treaty. Three generations of the same family have run the business and the present owner now plans to retire. The shop has a floor area of 1,100 sq ft and there are two upper floors. Ann-Louise Mitchell of the selling agents says the shop is being sold as a going concern with significant goodwill. The premises adjoin the pedestrian entrance to Roscrea Shopping Centre and its car-park.
