A FOUR-STOREY over basement Georgian building at 39 Fitzwilliam Place, Dublin 2, is expected to make about £500,000 when it is auctioned on October 9th by Firnegan Menton. Currently occupied by accountants McQuillan Kelly, the building has 4,000 square feet and five car-parking spaces at the rear. Nicholas Cordon of the agency says that while a small number of similar Georgian buildings are being bought for conversion into townhouses, the strongest interest was still coming from professional firms which were taking advantage of low interest rates to acquire their own offices.
