Ratoath: from €253,950Steeplechase in Ratoath continues its successful run for developer McGarrell Reilly with a new launch of 40 three, four and five-bedroom houses. Joint agents Sherry FitzGerald New Homes and Property Partners Brady will be taking bookings at 11 show units which open for viewing this weekend.
Prices range from €253,950 for 86.4 sq m (930 sq ft) three-bedroom townhouses, €330,000 for 116-130 sq m (1,250-1,400 sq ft) four-bedroom mid-terrace houses and €390,000 for five-bedroom end terrace houses of 156 sq m (1,680 sq ft).
Traditional in style with all-brick frontages, the houses at Steeplechase have smart contemporary interiors and good landscaping which is already under way. About 15 miles from the city centre, Ratoath is connected to the city via the 105 bus service and the N2 and N3 are within easy reach.
Showhouse interiors designed with flair by Peter Johnson Interiors and Charon Thompson show what can be done with the average home on a new development. Pine window frames have a softening effect on exteriors and German-made kitchens by Alno come in either wood look or laminate.
Ceilings in the larger houses are higher than usual at nine feet and every available space is put to use for extra storage. The 11 different house styles include two three-storey houses with main bedroom suites spanning the entire loft level.
The architects for Steeplechase were McCrossan O'Rourke Manning and landscaping is by Ronan MacDiarmada. Previous developments by the McGarrell Reilly Homes include Malahide Marina Village, Stepaside Park and Lusk Village.
Some of the Steeplehouse houses are built and ready to move into right away. Others will be completed in late 2005.
