ONE of the best-known restaurants in Co Wicklow, Curtlestown House, near Enniskerry, is expected to make about £250,000 when it is auctioned on April 30th by the Lisney agency.
The traditional Georgian farmhouse was converted five years ago to provide three diningrooms to seat 50 customers along with residential accommodation overhead and in a self contained mews building in the half-acre grounds.
Curtlestown House has won a number of awards for its cooking and is trading exceptionally well, according to Lisney. It is located on the Enniskerry road, about three miles from Enniskerry.
The proprietor, Colin Pielow, plans to develop a wine-related business when he sells the restaurant.
