Key money of £150,000 is being sought for a retail unit at Stillorgan Shopping Centre, in south Dublin. The shop is one of three which have been put on the market by Gambits Menswear, a company owned by menswear manufacturer John Swan Ltd. The others are the ILAC Centre and at the Omni Shopping Centre in Santry. Ben Pearson of Douglas Newman Good, who is handling the assignments, says he has had a considerable number of inquiries about the three shops even before they were advertised for sale. The Stillorgan shop has a floor area of 960 sq ft and the rent of £42,000 per annum is due to be reviewed next September. The agents are quoting a premium of £100,000 for the ILAC shop, which has 1,271 sq ft and is rented at £72,432 per annum. The Omni Park shop, which is available at £55,000, has 774 sq ft and is rented at £55,000.
