£11.25 million sales notched up beside the Phoenix Park

The buying frenzy in the new homes market continued last weekend with heavy sales in most new developments. The fastest selling scheme was undoubtedly Belleville, a 60-house development beside the Ashtown Gate of the Phoenix Park in Dublin. Joint agents Martin O'Mahony and Joe McPeake took booking deposits last Thursday for 47 houses with a total value of £9.6 million. A further nine houses were sold by Saturday evening, bringing sales up to £11.25 million. At this stage, only two houses remain available, a two-bedroom unit at £180,000 and a threebed terraced house at £199,500. The location of the new houses immediately beside the Phoenix Park was a strong selling point, according to the agents.
