A canvas by William Conor is expected to fetch as much as £25,000 on Monday at the Thomas P. Adams salerooms in Blackrock, Co Dublin. Called House Across the Street, the picture has the highest estimate in this auction, where George Barrett's Landscape with Lake View should sell for £12,000-£15,000 and George Campbell's A Traveller's Encampment £5,000-£6,000.
The sale of predominantly Irish art has two examples of Aloysius O'Kelly's work, Drying Sails, Concarneau and The Old Town of Concarneau, valued at £2,500-£3,500 and £2,000£3,000 respectively. There are also two pictures by Gerard Dillon (£800-£1,200 and £3,000-£4,000) and one by Daniel O'Neill called The Entombment (£1,400-£1,800).
