In conversation with TONY CLAYTON-LEA.Heathers play Wexford tonight and Kilkenny tomorrow night
What's on your rider?Twelve tabby kittens and a bowl of spaghetti letters.
What would be on your fantasy rider? All of the above and some bottles of Mountain Dew.
What's your pre-gig ritual/ routine?Drink some hot water, honey and lemon.
How do you get to the gig – limo, taxi, walking?Usually we take the bus, or get a lift from our dad.
What's the best gig you've been to?Bruce Springsteen, RDS, 2008 or Beyoncé, The O2, 2009. Both incredible performances.
And the worst? We've never really been to a bad gig. Every gig has something great about it – although gigs in the rain aren't fun.
What are your favourite and least favourite venues?Favourite: the Project Arts Centre and Doyle's in Dublin, and house shows. Least favourite: a 100-degree, smoky, claustrophobic attic, somewhere on our last American tour.
Most embarrassing on-stage moment?Ellie tripping up and taking down two microphone stands with her.
What's your crowd-pleasing number? Remember When.
Groupies. Would you?Would they??
How many roadies does it take to change your lightbulbs (ie, how big is your entourage)? We only use solar panel- powered lighting.
Any useful stage tips?Imagine cats in the audience if you get nervous.
What's the worst thing ever thrown at you?It was a set of keys.
If you could be in any other band, which one?The Spice Girls.
Who's invited to your aftershow party?Evvvvveryone!
What's your best tour story? When we were in the US touring with American band Ghost Mice, Chris, the guitarist of the band, began to tell people that we flew over from Ireland on a hot air balloon and we needed to sell loads of merch in order to fly back home. People were truly stunned and we got numeroui8s questions on "how to operate a hot air balloon". It was hilarious!
