Fight Like Apes are offering their fans the chance to participate in their new music video when it's filmed in Dublin next weekend. The video for Something Globalwill be filmed at Whelan's on Sunday, April 19th. Helming the shoot will be visual artist Eoghan Kidney, who also directed the band's last video Tie Me Up With Jackets.

One hundred fans who sign up on the band's website by next Friday will be invited at 11am to watch the band play a short set. Those fans will then be asked to film footage of Fight Like Apesperforming Something Global on their own mobile phones and cameras, and the resultant video will be a combination of that footage and professional high- definition camera work.

To participate, you must be over 16 and in possession of a video camera or mobile phone. Contributors will receive signed CDs and posters for their efforts, but are advised to sign up ASAP, as numbers are limited. www.fightlikeapes.com.
