Two women were held up at gunpoint in Ballyfermot, Dublin, yesterday as they were driving wages to a building site.

The women were in a car on Kylemore Road at about 4 p.m. when they were approached by two men on a motorcycle. The pillion passenger held a handgun to one of the women and took what gardai said was a "substantial" sum of money. Both men wore helmets. Nobody was injured.
