AN early Victorian extending dining table sold for £2,600 at Town & Country's auction last Thursday at the Mornington Hotel on Marlborough Street, Dublin 1. In the same sale a George IV inlaid mahogany longcase clock made £1,700; a mahogany chiffonier fetched £770; a Victorian mahogany curved sofa with outswept arms made £730; and a rosewood overmantel mirror, with bone and satinwood inlay, sold for £720.

A Victorian mahogany breakfront three door wardrobe sold for £620.
