LAST Sunday's house auction in Rathmichael, Co Dublin, held by Town & Country in conjunction with Jackson Stops & McCabe, saw a Victorian walnut breakfront credenza sell for £3,700, a large rosewood, early Victorian fold over tea table make £1,850 and a George IV mahogany secretaire bookcase fetch £1,700. Other prices included: £1,550 for an Edwardian mahogany rectangular kneehole writing desk; and £1,400 for a 19th century brass, club fender with leather upholstered seat.
