HAMILTON Osborne King's auction next Wednesday includes plenty of handsome Victorian furniture, as well as a varied collection of oils, watercolours and prints.
Items of interest include a pair of 20th century rosewood consul tables in the style of Thomas Hope (£2,000-£3,000); a 19th century mahogany side cabinet (£1,000-£1,500); a mahogany crossbanded and marquetry bookcase from around 1900 (£2,000-£3,000); and an early 19th century Irish mahogany sideboard (£1,000 - £2,000).
For those with just a few hundred pounds to spend there is a good selection of tables, chairs, wardrobes, mirrors, vases and lamps, silver and plate. The first viewing is tomorrow from 2 p.m.-5 p.m.
