It may not be popular, but I have a simple solution to ease the diabolic traffic on the Blackrock road in the mornings. It is simply to shut the two gates into Blackrock College and Willow Park. The disruption of traffic caused by people pulling in to the school, and worse, by people pulling out southbound, is one of the main contributors to rush hour traffic.

My traffic gripe concerns the national foolishness in the way we post distances in kilometres and speed limits in miles per hour. The distances specify kilometres and the speed limits make no specification. A tourist can only assume that we use the same unit of measure. It is just too ridiculous. What must the visitors think.
