THREE people were killed in traffic accidents in Dublin, Laois and Wicklow yesterday.
A man in his late 50s died when the car he was driving hit another vehicle and then struck a wail on Herbert Road in Bray.
A post mortem was being carried out at St Columcille's Hospital in Loughlinstown last night and it is believed he may have had a heart attack before crashing.
Meanwhile, a motorcyclist from Castleknock was fatally injured in an accident on Santry Lane in north Dublin. The man died after his bike hit a car at around 10 p.m. The driver of the car had minor injuries.
Earlier, an elderly woman was killed when a car and a van collided at Strahard on the Mountmellick to Portarlington Road in Co Laois. Three other people were treated for slight injuries.
