Linda McCartney's posthumous solo album, Wide Prairie, is released on Monday (26) on EMI Records. In an upcoming television interview with Jools Holland, Paul McCartney reveals that many of the lyrics were written while Linda was on her way to clinics for cancer treatment, and that three tracks were recorded just weeks before she died.
Devilish trick: Cliff Richard sent out copies of his new single, Can't Keep This Feeling In, to unsuspecting radio stations under the pseudonym Black Knight. The singer, celebrating 40 years in showbusiness, fooled trendy stations like Kiss 100 and Choice FM, who played the dance remix, completely unaware that it was made by ol' Heathcliff himself. The single has become Cliff's first Top Ten hit in five years. K.C.
