Society offers one-day seminar on Irish glass

The Glass Society of Ireland will hold a one-day seminar on Irish glass on Saturday, March 28th at the National Gallery. Entitled "Irish Glass - Past Glory, Future Promise", the seminar will hear from several specialists on glass, including Carles Hadjemach of the Broadfield House glass museum in the UK and Tim Mawhinney of the Ulster Museum.

The seminar starts at 10 a.m. and finishes at 5 p.m. Tickets, which include lunch, are £20 (Students £10), and they can be booked by calling Bridget Hornby on (01)8412526.
