THE sixth annual Irish International Collectables Fair will be held next weekend at the RDS. The venue ensures that more exhibitors than ever before will be present.

This year, there are expected to be over 150 stands and, for the first time, the fair will include a special section for collectable antiques, including silver, porcelain and glassware.

Also new is a special antiquarian book and paper ephemera section. As before, memorabilia will cover old advertising signs, sporting and motoring material and toys.

Experts in a number of areas of collecting will be attending the fair and will be available for consultation and free valuation of any pieces brought along by members of the public. Among the organisations represented will be London's Spinks, stamp specialists Harmers, together with Dix & Webb and Glendinings of London, auctioneers of coins and military medals.

The fair takes place next Saturday and Sunday, starting at 11 a.m. on both days.
