ONE Man and Rough Quest first and second in Thursday's Pertemps King George VI Chase, look set to reoppose in the Pillar Property Investments Chase at Cheltenham on January 25th.
And they may be joined there by Mr Mulligan, a faller at the final fence on Thursday when holding the runner-up spot.
Yesterday Gordon Richards reported One Man, 12-length winner of Thursday's Kempton feature, in good shape and ready to return to Cheltenham, where he was such a disappointment when sixth to Imperial Call in the Tote Gold Cup last March, a race in which Rough Quest was second.
"He's back at home and has been out in the field this morning and is in good order," said Richards. "The race may not have taken much out of him but there is still a five-and-a-half-hour journey there and a five-and-a-half-hour journey back to contend with.
"But his legs, body and mind are all OK."
